Why Richard built this

One person, figuring out what came next.

For years, I built things the old way — stitching together separate software systems by hand, holding the actual process together in my own head because nothing else would. When that chapter ended — not because the business wasn't working, it was thriving — I had to figure out what came next.

Claude was the first thing that felt less like a chatbot and more like a genuinely customizable operating layer, flexible enough to hold the same kind of work I'd always done manually. The real shift wasn't learning to use AI — it was realizing the skill I already had, reading how a business actually works, or doesn't, and thinking it through clearly enough to build the fix, was exactly what made Claude worth building on. Nguni AI started as one person doing that alone, for himself first. It's how we do it for you now.
